The factory at Edmonton was built in 1974 and has an area of 40,000 sq metres. The Education Centre is a purpose-built facility attached to the factory and here we host educational visits for schools, colleges, and universities, providing opportunities for students to make connections between classroom work and real life business practices.Need to know: Edmonton FAQS
MeetJoseph Education Centre Manager
I am Joseph Bradford, the Education Centre Manager at our north London operations in Edmonton.
I have a BA Honours in Management & Finance from the University of Westminster and I am also a qualified Business and ICT teacher. I have four years' teaching experience, varying from secondary schools up to university level, as well as having had exposure to commercial operations when I previously worked for Canon and Design Supply.

How much does it cost? +
Visits to our Education Centres are completely free of charge.
How long does it take? +
A typical visit lasts for around two hours.
How many visits can you accommodate per day? +
We can accommodate two visits a day: 10:00-12:00 and 13:00-15:00.
How many students can I bring? +
The maximum group size is 25 (23 students plus 2 teachers).
What does the visit consist of? +
A typical visit comprises a short video, a themed presentation, an activity and a factory tour.
There are five presentation themes for teachers to choose from (more detail on our booking form): Business Studies, Marketing, Manufacturing & Production, D&T and Enterprise.
How long in advance do I have to book? +
Teachers are advised to book well in advance (3-4 months/a term) as this is a very popular educational visit.
Do you cater for primary schools? +
Unfortunately it is not possible for primary schools to visit our Education Centres. For H&S reasons, the minimum age for visitors is 12 years old.
